Hey guys, my car is still smoking crazy! Hot or cold, idle or driving! It smokes a lot! My mods are full straight custom quad downpipe with VRSF downpipes ! Any one have any idea why it'll do that?

Either injector pissing fuel like crazy-so if you smell fuel in the smoke there's your culprit or if no fuel and it smells oil related likely it's a bad valve cover since the Pcv/oil separator is built in-however I've also seen turbos come apart and smoke like crazy..

Blown turbo seals will smoke like crazy. See if the smoke is kinda white colored. If it is it's a blown turbo.

How come this type of issue usually occurs right after a DP install?

It is white and smell like fuel, my car still runs fast! I doubt it's a blown turbo!

A blown turbo and blown turbo seals will show vastly different symptoms. Like the others have said, it is more than likely a fuel issue or possibly blown turbo seals.

It is most likely because the cats on the car are masking some of the smoke. If a seal is bad and then the cats are removed you will notice the smoke a lot more.

I thought I read in a somewhat recent thread that blown turbo seals produced a bluish smoke.

I am having the same issue and came to find out its a blown turbo seal. i dropped the exhaust down from the downpipes and ran my finger inside each DP. The driver side was clean and the passenger side was nasty and rough to the touch. It started to show the smoke as soon as i had my DP's installed.

If it's a blown turbo seal the smoke will have a blue tint to it as oil will be getting past the seals, into the exhaust, burnt, and will show as smoke. In my opinion it sounds more like blown seals to me than anything but it could be multipul things.

If it's a fueling issue you will have greyish black smoke that should increase dramaticly when going WOT or getting on it a bit.

Have you checked to see if the car is losing any coolant? If coolent is getting past the headgasket it will make it's way into the exhaust and also cause a smoking issue. It doesn't take much time to check the coolent level so that's worth a look.

I wouldn't risk beating on a heavily smoking car though.

Its pure white smoke, I doubt it's anything to do with my turbos, my car is still running fast! Ill check the coolant soon
