Hawk DTC group buy
I am trying to put together a group buy from my Hawk dealer as they have offered me a great deal. For the BMW 135i with the six piston brake kit I can get front Hawk DTC 70's for $255 a set if I order at least 20 sets and rear DTC 60's for $220 if I order at least 5 sets. I need about five front sets and one rear set myself so I need a few more people to get the discount. The minimum amount I will ship is two sets as I don't want to be sending tons of packages. Shipping will be a flat $12 in the continental U.S.regardless of how many sets you want. Please message me if you are interested. I am not a dealer/commercial sales so please do not ask me for other pad types as I only use DTC 70's, thanks.

Technically, they're race only. On the street they're screechy, require a lot of heat to run right, and will eat your rotors if they're cold. Some people I know buy super cheapo rotors for their non-BMWs and just drive to the track with them, not caring about the cold stopping and replacing the rotor when it gets too eaten/fractured/messed up. It also sounds like the titanic hitting an iceberg when they're cold. Such a horrible screech. Only heard it once, never want to hear it again. But on the track they're supposedly pretty awesome.

These are designated by Hawk as track only pads. I know many people who use them for the track and love them but they all take them off after a track weekend. They are fine driving to the event etc from all the people I know that use them but not good for everyday driving.

BMWbab1, it seems you can't receive private messages. I can show you a lower price without quantity restrictions if you're interested. If you're not interested, I will delete this post.

Gary,
I would love to see where we can get lower prices. If you can post it on this thread that would be great. I will also try to message you and then maybe you can message me back with where we can get them cheaper if the place that gives you a lower price doesn't want you to post it in a public forum. Thanks! |

Gary,
Could not message you, not sure why. If you could post where we can get them cheaper that would be great as I have not seen them lower than $270 for the fronts. Appreciate your help! |

Check with RaceShopper.com as well. They know their shit about the products they sell and usually have the best prices on any race pads that I have looked for.
