2012/07/29 BMW CCBC Car Control Course - BMW Content

Yesterday was BMW Car Club of BC's Car Control course, level 1 HPDE for collision avoidance that gets you a bit of discount on your optional insurance, that kind of thing. It also qualifies you for the level 2 Road Skills course that is half HPDE and half track day held at the local track. My brother-in-law attended with his 2009 Nissan GT-R, and I was there for pictures.

Camera equipment was a Canon EOS 50D + Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM + B+W 77mm Circular Polarizer. Because of the lack of reach I "worked the crowd" and focused on still shots within personal range. Another photographer was there with a Canon EOS 60D + Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM for telephoto work so I left him to it
