Which course is it? They usually break it down into four smaller sections. Pocono is fun, needs to be repaved IMO. Plans for upgraded brake pads? How about the leaky power steering pump?

Pocono has been repaved well the big part of the track... the inside track was still being worked on like in May when i was there.

Event says: North Course and 2.5 mi Single Infield, and that the tri-oval has been repaved...http://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1485

It's my first time...so I'm on stock brake pads (about 22K miles on car)...dunno about power steering issue...whatever the case, first time going so I want to see how I like it before investing further.

Go visit the track section of this forum. Your gunna need a rag to wrap around the PS cap to prevent overflow from getting all over your engine. Also, if time allows, a mild track pad works wonders compared to the stock pads. You'll hate yourself of you cook the stock pads and have to drive home...or worse.

The power steering pump resevoir can leak during very spirited driving. It's a known issue.
