can anybody help pls?

hi
i am about to buy a bmw 1 series 2005 i have been told it has two minor problems which are the air bag light remains on and the traction control button does not work i have been advised these are minor but was wondering if any body can advise me on this please as i dnt know alot about bmw's yet?
I would really appreciate it

Those do not sound like minor things to me! After all how will this car pass ANY kind of safety inspection!

The ABS module has been known to fail causing the traction control to fail. I think its a fairly expensive repair ~2K euros or so.

Airbag fixes aren't cheap either. $$$$


I hope you have a good BMW dealer do a pre purchase inspection for you. Might be the best $200 you ever spent.
