Fair price on a 09 135 CPOED?!? NEED HELP FAST
I know this is a double post, but I kinda need help quick since i really am kinda in a rush to figure out my situation. I'm very close to buying a certified preowned 2009 135i. The car doesn't have many options at all. It's jet black with Grey poplar wood trim and is manual. All it has option wise is the premium sound system and the anti theft alarm system. It does have a sunroof and rear lip but that's it. The car is a one owner clean carfax and just hit 33k miles. It is listed for $29,900 and I was able to get them down to $28,500. The kbb value on this car cpoed is just above $30k. I'm wondering if $28,500 is a good price on my end? I would really appreciate everyone's help and input as I'm very interested in buying the car as soon as possible. Thanx for all the help in advance!!

I paid 24,500 for my 08' 135i with every single option available except heated seats. Navi, sport, M, premium sound, etc. 41k miles. This was only about 2 months ago, too... I wouldnt say its a terrible deal, but I wouldnt jump on it and I would say for the same price you can get one fully loaded...

I paid 29,200 for my 08 135i with 32,000 miles. Has sport, premium, comfort access, navigation, rear parking sensors, and heated seats. Cant think if theres anything else but I know it doesnt have alarm or upgraded stereo. Oh and its manual, but I wanted manual.

The lack of sorts seats would be the thing that would be the drawback for me. Edmonds Insideline did a long term test on a 135i with no sport package and commented on the seats a good bit. It can still be found on their website. I would go check it out if you have time. Some good stuff, it is basically a bunch of blog posts from a bunch of different editors on the 135i as they drove it 40k miles or something like that.

I paid 27500 for my Cpo'd 1'er and it only had 7200 miles on it. Fair cost for a car is all relative, and depends largely on a number of things...The dealership may of put alot into the car inorder to make a deal when the previous transaction was done, and therefore they are trying to pass the cost along to you. Additionally, I think you will find that our car sales for various amounts depending on the area of the country you reside in.

price varies from dealer to dealer season to season, private, many factors but your price of 28 grand seems about right for a CPO'car...privately bought and NOT CPO 26 grand is about right..IMO opinion used 135i's are an amazing bargain. More important is getting the car as close to what you want in options, color, trim ,interior and all the other packages...Bought my 09 from a BMW Corporate Auction and had more options than i wanted but have found i like just about all of them...who's ever thought i would have a car with little lights under the door handles, and heated leather seats(first car with leather).

Paid 23,500 for my 08 135 with 40,000 miles a couple months ago. Fully stock and flawless....the premium stereo, outside/interior trims, heated and powered seats i believe are the only upgrades. it is manual (the only way to go for me), one owner, all service done on schedule....oh and brand new tires..... non cpo

Went back to the dealer today and tried to haggle them down a little more to 27. They said the best is 28.5 and I walked away. U guys think it was a good or bad decision? I'm thinking if I don't get a call back within the next 2-3 days from them with a better price, I'm just gonna bite the bullet and pay 28.5.

I bought my 2008 CPO 128 convertible with 24k miles on it last November for 28k. Used there is not much of a price difference between the 128 and 135. Mine is fully loaded including Navi, sports and premium package, new tires, battery and warranty. I would not go any higher than 25k on yours.
