I am the original owner. The car is garaged at night and in covered parking during the day. Nobody has ever smoked in the car.


Exterior condition:

The exterior of the car is in fantastic shape. There are NO door dings or dents of any kind in the body. The rims are in perfect shape except for a small scrape on the front-left rim (see picture).

Tires have plenty of tread on them - in fact the front tires were just recently replaced (Michelin Super Sports).

Interior condition:

The interior is also in fantastic shape. There is a very small amount of wear on the left driver's seat bolster. No scratches or blemishes on any of the trim or plastic.


Accident:

In the summer of 2010, the car behind me was rear ended and rolled into me while on a freeway onramp. It was very low speed, but there was damage to both the bumper cover and trunk lid (car that hit me was higher off the ground than me).

The bumper cover and trunk lid were replaced with brand new OEM parts and the work was done at the best body shop in Atlanta (Magnum Collision). They did an absolutely superb job. I've been driving the car for close to 2 years since then and you'd never know that anything had happened.

I have all records of the repair (and all service done to the car) as well. The car has been serviced exclusively at Global Imports BMW.


Warranty

The car is still covered by BMW's bumper-to-bumper warranty and free scheduled maintenance plan, which is good through April of 2013 (or 50k miles). This is, of course, transferrable.

It cost me less than 1k to ship my car from Atlanta to CA.. might cost you an extra 400 bucks to fly out there and check the car out in person..and that'd still be a good deal for the car.

only blemish is the accident history but the great price should compensate for that. your seats are in better condition than mine at 19K miles. g'luck

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I always keep my cars in great condition which is why the accident really pissed me off when it happened. The funny (not-so-funny) thing is that the exact same scenario (me getting rear-ended by a car that got hit by another car) happened in the exact same spot about 2 years before that in my old 335i.

I think I need to take a different route to work...

Anyway, I really fought hard with her insurance company to go with the shop of my choice, use no remanufactured parts, and everything was REPLACED (not repaired). I encourage you to look at the car in person (and have it inspected of course) but I promise you that you would never know that anything had happened back there. You know a shop is good when they've got Ferrari's and Bentley's parked out front...

Regardless, I've certainly taken the accident into consideration when pricing the car (I'd probably be asking another $2k otherwise)

Lol...

Let's be real, even if the car was lowered by $1,400, you still wouldn't be able to buy the car...

We're talking about 3% of the asking price...which I'm sure the seller would help you out if it's $1.4K that was going to make or break a deal...but we all know it doesn't make a difference in this case.
