Should i throw this tyre away?
I've managed to neglect my tyres for some times... Had a quick look tonight and it appears that the front right tyre is wearing unevenly, the outer edge is wear a lot quicker than the rest.
Im hoping it is just an alignment issue and will get it sorted. But should i replace the tyre itself? |

I'd recommend replacing it with a tire.
Check the pressure and then possibly the balancing and alignment. |

yeah runflats on these cars tend to wear unevenly for reason.
Check your alignment more often next time is my recommendation, but theres no reason why you cant replace it and hold onto that tire for use as a spare. Thats what I did and it came in handy when I blew out a tire a year later. |

Thanks for the replies.
Yes, i deff should have paid more attentions to my tyres! lesson learnt. I am planning on changing all my tyres, getting an alignment and ditching the run flats soon. I was thinking of maybe holding on to the runflats if i ever decide to trade it into a dealer but wasn't sure if itd be worth holding on to the one with uneven wear? ( the rest seem to have worn quite evenly) ... and i'll happily stick to my tyres |
