some help with my x5 4.8 2007
hey i just needed some help...i just purchased my car and im in the mist of putting on new rims ...the selection in my area is not to good so i have decided to go online..i just wanted to know the best fit because i wanted to go with 22's 10.5 on the rear and 9" on the front..i was looking to dump about 3k into that..and one guy told me to go 10"rear and 8.5 on front ..but it just dident sound right from what i have read..i think he was just itching for a sale in the store..thx guys and looking for all black deep dish on the back...all sugestions are respected..thanks

Agreed, sounds like he was just BS'ing to make a sale.
Why don't you ask him to explain why he's claiming his recommendation is better? My wheels/tires are wider than that (128's) and I have never had an issue of any kind. Make sure to post pics when you get them! |

yah, so i tryd talking to this guy from carid...and he was tellin me how it would be a head ache blah blah puttin on 22's said he would email selections back never did..so i was like meh...i found a dealer near by that could order in some and had a few to look at in stock...one that looked ok was the tsw jarma black with chrome lip..and then all black lexani's ...hoping to make the order in the next week..

so after all said an done i purchased niche spa-m879 22" 12" for the rear with a 3"lip
and 22" 10" for the front with a 1" lip tire size is 365 for rears..monsters...so pics will be up in 4weeks when they come |
