South FL - car meet at Homestead-Miami Speedway

Hey guys, I just wanted to come on here and try and get the word out for a "car corral" that Homestead-Miami Speedway is doing during the Grand-AM series Grand Prix of Miami. Hopefully we can get a nice turnout so the "car corral" area can be filled with a ton of nice looking cars of different makes and models. Here's the link to check it out:

Are you only going on Saturday? I assume the bigger meet up and better day or racing would be Sunday since it's the actual race.

I am only doing Saturday... Life gets in the way Sunday.

I have the same problem as Matt; Saturday is easier that weekend with family obligations. Also, funny enough the race on Saturday appeals to me more because it is more like a race of regular cars. Something about seeing more M3's in GT and 328's, Fords, Kia's etc. in ST sounds like a lot of fun. There may be more access too. The Silver and Blue Porsche that was practicing the day of our track day is part of the Continental race on Saturday; I saw it in some pictures from a prior circuit race.

So do we want to plan a meetup / cruise down to the race on Saturday?


I'm in Coral Gables and I know E93Vert is in South Miami...

Maybe a meetup in Sunset / Dadeland location would work?


Gates are at 9am and it'll take ~hour to get there... sooo, maybe 8am meet then roll? I'll bring the bagels. =)

FYI, I was planning to head down around noon (kid duty in the morning) so I will have to catch up to you there. I received an email today with directions to the corral.

Noon will be a better roll out. Same area could work though...?
