▀▄ eas | EDC Elimination Coding for aftermarket coilover Suspension systems
Through a joint venture with the Autologic team, we are now able to properly remove EDC coding for those that have upgraded to aftermarket coilover setups.
Supported Coilover systems include (but not limited to): - Bilstein PSS10 - KW Suspensions (not required on Sleeve-over kits) - Moton Street Sport - AC Schnitzer Racing Suspension - RD Sport/Racing Dynamics Chassis Kit - AST 4100/4200, 4150/4250 - Ohlins - JRZ Coding eliminates the need to purchase external code isolator kits, which can look unsightly under the hood and get extremely hot after extended use. For those not local to our facility, the Macht Schnell EDC Emulation Module will keep the hood clean from unsightly external resistor packs and produce zero heat, as emulation is performed digitally instead of using resistance. Coding can be reinstalled at any time if you should change your mind in the future. If we can save money, we'd like to pass along those savings to you. All EDC-equipped coilover installs now include EDC coding removal at no additional charge, allowing you to pocket the additional savings.

Yes.
We've also converted TPMS systems to RDC type, for those that still wish to retain TPMS capabilities, but avoid using pressure-type sensors (instead taking readings from wheel sensors, like E46M3). This is especially helpful for those that see regular track use, with multiple sets of wheels.

Remove them, have them coded out and sell them to someone who may possibly need them or that has a non-KW setup.
This way you won't see any large, ugly resistor packs in the engine bay (which get VERY hot). You may even come up a slight margin compared to coding, we've had people removing their Code isolators just to sell them on the forums. EDC coding can be added back at any time if the car is sold. Quote:
The Macht Schnell EDC module is completely hidden from view.

I am a sucker for the coding, I went ape sh*t with Tom on coding everything for my 2011 M3.
Coded : TPMS ([I]so swapping wheels for wheel wh0re is easy[ and no stupid yellow exclamtaion light/I]), EDC (so I can remove the heavy & hot running KW EDC Modules), folding mirrors on lock, window roll up/down on lock the only ones I can think of off my head I am missing is the "enable time travel" and "teleport" codes through autologic...

Do we have to leave the EDC sensors on top of the struts in place even after coding them out?
I'd imagine it will be quite painful to have to remove the entire trunk lining everytime u needed to make an adjustment. The fronts seem easy enough. |

Once coded, the emulators are no longer needed. They can be removed.
