TPMS or no TPMS for track?
On Friday I dropped off some Apex rims and Toyo R888 tires to have them mounted today (Monday) and I had forgotten the TPMS sensors. This morning (Monday) I dropped of the sensors and the tires are already mounted and the guy says it's better to run without TPMS....
Anyone with experience on this? I know I'll get a dash light...any other issues running on track without TPMS? Should I have him unmount, install sensors and remount the tires?

I run mine with TPMS. I don't think it really makes a difference either way.

No TPMS = lower rotating mass which is slightly better.

I run my track set up with TPMS. I dont like any warning lights on my dash, espesially when driving like a mad man on the track. Should another warning light come up, i will see it right away.

TPMS sensors weigh so little this won't affect anything as long as the wheel is properly balanced.

Macht Schnell makes a $300 device that turns off the warning light.

If you plan to lower your air pressure at track than just ignore light, but if you plan to drive on street with regular pressures after track just keep them in. There isnt that much difference in rotating mass weight. You wont loose or gain hp..lol

I deleted my TPMS light via coding. The JB4 now can block the light from coming on too.
