FS: 2005 Honda Element EX 2wd 93k miles $9,500
HONDA 2005 Element EX 2WD in Sunset Orange MILEAGE: 93k Miles. FUNCTIONAL CONDITION: Perfect. Starts EVERYTIME. No issues. Runs without issue. VERY well maintained. Incredible 20 MPG in Stop-N-Go. 22-25 MPG Hwy. COSMETIC CONDITION: Clean Outside appearance. Shiny paint. 1 Scratch/chip on rear hatch. HISTORY/STORY: I bought this car Brand New in 2005 when she had 4 Miles. I maintained and cared for her religiously, I like to care for my cars, so Oil Changes every 5k Miles. Have all maintenance paperwork. Have CLEAN Title in hand. Replaced Tires at 60k miles with 60k mile tires (600 treadwear). So you have 30k miles left. Replaced front brake pads at 60k miles. Replaced rear pads at 80k miles. Replaced leaking valve cover gasket at 90k miles that is due to Honda's cheap oil -- so Mobil/Castrol Synthetic from now on. Next major service is at 110k miles (Valve Timing Adjustment). This car has been a great, reliable purchase for me -- and I would keep this car, if I could. No engine or any other issues with this car EVER. There are very few cars with this amount of cargo room. The rear loading and seat removing and interior configurations allows you to carry soooo much gear its shocking. Most large SUVs cannot fit the size items this can, due to the low floor. THE BAD: One small (fingernail size) ding and scratch on back lift gate (no idea how it got there). One small cigarette hole burn on bottom of driver's seat (I know exactly how it got there = Let a friend borrow it to move furniture and he smokes, he got a perma-ban, it's about $300 to replace. otherwise this car has never been smoked in, before or after that. Also, an older lady was backing out of her driveway at 2 mph and gently squeeze-dented my driver's door. I was very stern with her insurance company and made sure the repairs went MY way. That means the car got a new Driver's door SHELL and all other components were re-used. I have pics of dent -- was very slight and not even deep enough to touch window or penetrate paint. SUMMARY Washed once a month. Best cargo hauler I have ever owned. Room like a pickup truck, drives like a small car and MPG of a mid-size sedan = this is the most practical car I have ever owned.. Original MSRP was $23,500 $9,500 in Arcadia, CA Thanks for looking mastek@usa.com SOLD PICS: http://s43.photobucket.com/albums/e3...view=slideshow Last edited by mastek; 05-29-2012 at 07:13 AM.. |
