New here, hi!
Hi everyone,
I\'m Adrian, have been a long time perve of the forums and have just purchased a 2009 Black Sapphire Metallic 135i. I\'m really impressed! Sunroof, coral red interior, iDrive system. It is the second black car I\'ve had and am not looking forward to keeping it clean! Hope to see you guys around Ads |

Oh, I was going to ask about tuning and some other things. I know about the "JB4" and "Proceed" tunes and know that they're fairly similar. Is there anything else you would recommend for performance?
I like the BMW stripes on the sides, I might have to buy a set soon. I'll be checking the exterior this weekend, probably will have to do some work on my leather. |

Typical path for performance mods is:
- Tune (JB4 or Procede) - Catless Downpipes (AR Design have the best fitment on our RHD vehicles) - Meth Other engine oriented upgrades include: - Intercooler - Oil Cooler - Dual Cone Intake aka Air Intake enjoy the car, great colour combo |

Thank you gentlemen, much appreciated. I haven't heard of the Cobb tune, is it any different to the others? Are there any recommendations for intercoolers?
The black and red really took my eye. I saw some pics on here of a black 135i at a BMW coffee meet last year and it looked unreal. Made me make the plunge on black, but now I need the discipline and somehow find the time to keep it clean. |

A lot of people here would recommend HPF or ETS. I will recommend ER as that is what i have |

I wish I can just put a 100% mark up on my products! Careful with raceland DP might spend more money modifying to fit instead of just getting AR |

Also akrapovic are 2.5" and AR Design are 3" so there are potentially some minor difference in power. Also with Procede you get local support from Adrian as he is the procede reseller in Australia. |

Anyway, welcome. I just had procede installed and it is quite a good place to start - but fairly useless with the oem runflats. My 2 cents would be to get a piggyback and some decent tyres at the same time (maybe wider wheels while your at it). |

Ive checked out the thread on the Cobb and now cant decide. I know the JB4 and the Proceed are proven, and the Cobb tune hasnt really taken off here yet, but from the reports it sounds very good. Theres no rush but id love to start unleashing the potential of this engine. |
