Hello All,
After a few great years with the e92 325i i was ready for a change, something with a bit more kick.. Drove a few audi's , mercs and even a porsche.. Either they were ugly, too sedate like my current shape or too expensive.. Thought i would go back through BMW again. As my Budget didnt permit a low km 335i i thought i would check out a 135i so i took it for a spin... i mean i knew they went but... WHAT A CAR!!... Ended up getting a good deal on mine and a nice change over deal and bought the car. I am now a proud owner of a 135.. Just been doing a bit of research on the tuning capabilities of this monster... absolutely amazing! anyways catch u round |

Check out the 'Ribs & Rumps' thread that's active right now, we went out Friday night. Probably one of the biggest meets we've had. There are some pics in the 4th page I think?
There are a lot more members in Brisbane on the forum, but not active in real life I guess. |

Yeh i was actually looking for White, but couldnt find one that suited, i am a little worried about the QLD heat and a black car, the e92 was space grey.. The tuning bug has bitten me again, before the 3 series was into modding Honda's ... Looking at chip upgrade, I prefer to keep genuine parts but from what I am seeing the aftermarket ones are way better bang for buck, dont want to void the warranty though .
As for pictures picking car up Thursday!! |

LSD yes, but I disagree on the meth. I know it's very trendy, but it's a lot of messing around and stuff can go HORRIBLY wrong. Better mods for the money IMO. |

I have not heard of any methanol kits on 135s going even a little bit wrong, let alone horribly wrong?

Agree on the LSD. It's not helpful unless you are on the limit of losing traction, and you need it for the extra 1/10th. It's useless on a daily driver. It's hasn't even been that handy for the drag strip, mainly for tracking. As for meth, well I know of a car that is no longer with us due to an issue with meth. But it could have been avoided, and there are some things that can be done which would void this problem in the first place. On the whole, it is pretty safe, and fool proof with the technology available to us now. I have only had minor issues which were fixed easily and mostly my fault anyway. And the beauty of meth is that I can use it basically any time I want on a daily basis! |
