Increase Emissions- BT Readout
I know many people have had the increased emissions come on because of O2 sensors, etc. I am fairly sure mine is a bad O2 sensor as well and has been a problem for a couple years. The deal supposedly replaced the sensors when I was in the states, but the light came on again. I think they just reset the light and never replaced the sensors. This is the same dealership that the service tech pulled my front bumper into a curb, completely scratching the underside and ripping my clear bra, and then claimed it was not them that did it.
I picked up a BT scanner and it shows this fault: 277D: Lambda sensor trim control diagnostic bank 2 Error will cause a warning light Error is not currently present Test conditions have been completed Can you guys tell me what the problem most likely is and if it is an O2 sensor, which one it is?

^^I just put the HFCs on about 500 miles ago. I have been getting the code for a long time before that. Before the HFCs I just had the Eis Race. I feel like it is a bad O2 sensor.
I would like to get a tune, but I am considering going F/I, so I really don't want to waste the money on the tune.

The light has been on and off for about 10k miles. I have taken it in a couple times and it was always the same story...O2 sensor. I don't think the crappy BMW dealer I was going to ever replaced it though because it always came back on within 500 miles of going into the dealer. I think they were just resetting my CEL.
Right now the BT scan even shows that the code is not on right now, but the CEL is still on. It is nothing serious or I would have done more to fix it already. I am just starting to get annoyed with it. Quote:

If you have a CEL present and no stored codes, you have an issue, and likely need a software update.
