Help, Dash Gauges dead...

Hi, I have a 2008 e60 535. This morning when I started the car the dash does not respond and the idiot light are lit up. The tach, speedo, gas, etc and dash lights are all dead, the idiot lights abs, dtc, etc are lit and will not go off even when the car is off and locked.... Also the drivers floor board is very damp... The car seems to run okay, and the Idrive system works. On the idrive screen however the date and time are showing as dashes... Any thoughts on what could cause this. My first thought would be there is a short or the dash is not grounded possibly. Any help and thoughts on how to narrow down what the deal is would be greatly appreciated.

I pulled and reinstalled the fuses associated with the dash, and when I pulled and reinstalled the fuse in (i think) slot 29 the dash came back to life. Odd, but I am glad it is resolved, now I need to find where the leak is....
