Do you carry extra quart of oil in your car?
WOndering how many carry an extra quart and if so what do you keep it in or where do you store it? I found the best place is in the back, at an angel right above the little tool set. It wedges in there nicely with a towel wrapped around the bottom to make it a snug fit.
I do not want the oil being tossed around in the trunk and this is the only way to keep it stable. Any other suggestions |

Mine came with a bottle of oil in a nice BMW carrying case that contains a paper funnel. Velcros to the left inside of the trunk.
Long trips, I bring an extra one too. Just incase.

I leave the oil at home...less weight...better gas mileage.

Thanks for the tip, that is perfect. You would have to be crazy not to carry a quart with you given how m engines potentially can burn through a quart on a long trip easy! |

the oil case is $4.58 direct from BMW online. They send the order to your local dealer. Mine was $5 when I put it in the cart, but when it confirmed, it somehow became cheaper. Shipped for a buck and was in my hands in a week.
I ordered the CF keychain too, and it was $21 (List price was like 30 bucks) |
