Do you carry extra quart of oil in your car?

WOndering how many carry an extra quart and if so what do you keep it in or where do you store it? I found the best place is in the back, at an angel right above the little tool set. It wedges in there nicely with a towel wrapped around the bottom to make it a snug fit.

I do not want the oil being tossed around in the trunk and this is the only way to keep it stable. Any other suggestions

Mine came with a bottle of oil in a nice BMW carrying case that contains a paper funnel. Velcros to the left inside of the trunk.

Long trips, I bring an extra one too. Just incase.

I do. I just store it in the glove compartment in a ziplock bag. I hardly have anything in there.

I think I've always had an extra. Last year one broke though and ruined my old trunk liner

Wow I want it!

1.Where can I buy this?

2. Does the velcro just stick to anything in the trunk area to stay put?

Sorry I am a dope! Did not even realize you had the website listed on the picture! Ordered it-9 bucks, what a deal!

Thanks for the tip, that is perfect.

You would have to be crazy not to carry a quart with you given how m engines potentially can burn through a quart on a long trip easy!

I use to do this until two emptied in there. I keep a quart in the car at all times. I usually add half when the indicator says +1 quart.

Mine requires a litre every 5k so I carry one when it gets close to that. Otherwise no. No need.

the oil case is $4.58 direct from BMW online. They send the order to your local dealer. Mine was $5 when I put it in the cart, but when it confirmed, it somehow became cheaper. Shipped for a buck and was in my hands in a week.

I ordered the CF keychain too, and it was $21 (List price was like 30 bucks)
