Lime Rock's Christmas Special: A Grand a Day to Drive Your Own Car!!

"For $995, you can drive your own car at high speed - with a private instructor sitting "right seat" - on Lime Rock Park's iconic race track."

http://www.onehotlap.com/2011/11/lim...grand-day.html

It's comforting to know that the fee includes liability insurance to protect the track itself but too bad the 5-series owner pictured above would have to buy his own insurance separately (optional). And for a grand a day, the food and drinks at lunch better be damn good! I'd like another free Shirley Temple, please. Does that private Club Chalet offer a full body massage with happy ending as part of the package too?

For that exact same price you get to drive the TDI DSG race preped jettas all day, with an instructor, at Milville. Thats a ripoff and a half.

I don't understand how this is any different than a regular hpde at a third of the price. Unless that massage with a happy ending at the end of the day is included in the price

The promo is for a track day some time in 2012. LRP's press release targets Christmas shoppers. It's that special gift your spouse will get you for Christmas

And yes, even with a happy ending it would be very steep
