BMW Type 44's work well as a winter rim

Hey, Picked up a 128 for the wife and she truly loves it. Awesome car for her. Had a extra set of type 44's from my e46 and worked very well. just thought pass on the info as they are decent oem option for winter and doesn't look bad. Only have crappy iphone pics thus far. She got the gislaved 205/50/17's so far so good, no snow yet. What other size tires people running and how you like them.

cheers.

3rd winter with 225/45-17 Pirelli SottoZero 210's on our 135i. Very pleased with them.

Good to know, just picked up a set of SottoZeros and I'm anxious to try them out. Haven't had performance winter tires before..

I was kind of confused at first, because they look like a directional tire but when I was mounting them, I found out they're not. Weird, seeing the tread pattern going opposite directions.
