M1 - how many of each color produced?
I'm new to the forum, recently had a 2008 AW E60 M5, now I have a jet black 2011 X5d and am currently looking at a few M1s. There is a Valencia Orange and Metallic black available to me and I might be able to get AW if I try hard enough. I know everyone has their personal favorites but does anyone know how many of each color were produced? Thanks.

I don't know for sure, but it seems like Black and Orange are the most popular...white the least. That's the impression I get from the polls, seeing all the ED writeups and what is coming out around me. It would be great to know for sure though.

WOW! THREE available to you. You are one lucky dude. Maybe pass on the leads to this forum to help the other members looking for allocation??
Car is a 1M, not M1. If you check the "sticky" Metak (MrMetak2you) has graciously started a registry - you might start there to get a feel for how many of each color produced. Remember: pass on the leads to this forum, you will be forever a hero. Pyrat

M1 sometimes I question the validity of what some of these people say, specially when they don't even know the name of the car they are "looking at".

Just call it an "M." That's what the boot indicates. Just plain simple M.
