OEM exhaust mod (UK)

Anyone here in the UK done the OEM exhaust mod?

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=583312

Curious to hear it in person, thinking bout getting it done at the same time as getting the black chrome Edition exhaust tips put on. Would prefer to get the Performance exhaust but got quoted just a tad over £3K from a BMW dealer here in London, would almost rather drop that money into a BBK.

Well no part number as such but you need to find an exhaust shop that can open up the back box and cover some perforations on the piping inside.

Probably a good excuse to take a long weekend drive up to Scotland find some nice roads!

I guess its more a case of finding a shop that I can trust to not c0ck it up!

if you do decide to take the huge drive get in touch could get it done in a day like 10 am to 4 pm I recon but I'll double check once you know

I'm sure there's quite a few good garages your way, it's really easy job for a garage to do or there's don88 on the cutters forum that did it himself, maybe get in touch with him

You'll love it once it's done

Awesome, would be interesting to see how you get on. I'm still on the fence with this one or fork it out for the Perf Exhaust

I sent an email to these people today:

http://www.simpsonraceexhausts.com/

to see if they do one of jobs such as this. I detailed what needed to be done. We'll see, if they can, and if so maybe we can get a group buy working?

Ok, he replied but states they don't do this type of work, so the search goes on for a vendor we can all use.
