Repost: Is this price ok at BMW service center?

GUys, i posted this in 1er coupe forum. Traffic is lower than the 1///m section and am about to schedule this Friday. Advice thanks!

I have just got my Conti DWS winter tires. Called the local BMW dealership. Got the following price quote:

1. Mount tire and balance: $120
2. Install the M3 front sway bar - $190

Dude, are you serious. Why don't you call other local dealerships or independent shops and compare prices. You can also post in the regional forums as I'm sure you're not the only 1er owner in Iowa.

I just temporary stationed at Iowa and have no garage in my house. Was wondering if i should wait till Christmas back to Florida and get installed the E93 bar?

No offense to BMW of DM, but the mount and balance can be done at a ton of places for $75 to $100 any day. There are a bunch of good tire places around.

Front bar seems a bit steep also. As noted, better prices to be had at independent shops.
