Heading to the airport for PCD tomorrow...

Woohoo, after reading about this car for over a year, and having a deposit down for almost exactly 10 months, the wait is over... my journey is about to begin.

So any suggestions? Anything you wish you brought that you didn't? Wish you had done but couldn't?

Thanks guys, I'll be a 1Addict (finally) in a little over 24 hours.

Go to the (little)BMW Museum in the lobby of the factory. Its cool. Also you MUST take a picture of your car in front of those water fountains there.

yeah...shorts. I was wearing pants and it was like 80+ degrees that day. i was sweating my balls off during the factory tour and it was distracting. swamp-ass doesn't help your concentration.

that said, you're going when the weather will be perfect (around 60 degrees). pants will be fine. it will be windy though...about 20+mph. other than that, bring your camera..and if you know how to do HDR photo's, keep that in mind. the [HDR] photos you can take with an overcast day...are EXTREMELY impressive!!!

Make sure you bring a video cam and record your track run !

Hopefully you have a nice ride back and go thru the blue ridge mountains

and most of all HAVE A BLAST!
