Awesome and congrats. By the way...the tracking systems lag, so even when it goes in transit you won't know right away.

Our cars might be twins as mine just completed production today. Both the phone and web systems suck. When my car went into production, the website updated before the phone and when my car finished production, the phone system updated before the website.

I could never sell Helmut, my long suffering 325xi.

I do snowboard quite a bit and there is no way I would even try to take the 1M up a mountain pass when it's snow packed or icy.

I do need a name for my 1M though. I was thinking Gunther? any suggestions? I know cars are supposed to have girl names, but I can't do that.

Maybe you should have a vote in the name considering your sacrifice. Which I truly appreciate to the bottom of my heart.

I think there is a resort in Ohio with a tiny hill. When I was in Ohio we always went to Holiday Valley in NY

When did your production start? Mine started on Tuesday morning and I am just trying to gauge when it will be complete ... I had to pour some significant funds

into one of my older cars this week to keep it going until the new 1M arrives.

I picked up mine two weeks ago (okay it was a Wednesday but immediately took it for the paint protective film so I didn't really take it home until Thursday the 29th).

I think it went into production formally on September 28th. I was out of town for 10 days, but I think yesterday or today on the bmw website is when it changed from production to finished production if that helps.

I named my 2003 Silver Gray 330 ZHP "Rommel" I loved that name and wish I could use it again but someone else can..
