Question - stock radio

I bought a BSM stripper and am curious about the stock radio - does it have a USB or other connection for an iPod or iPhone, or is it just the radio and CD player? Thanks in advance.

I think the USB/iPod connect and blue tooth are an option that must be ordered. My car is decontented except for a few options. Heated seats, the USB/iPod/bluetooth and the base radio. If the car is a true no option car, you will not have USB/iPod/Bluetooth.

It's got heated seats and satellite radio. Nothing else.

+1, any $5 cable from Best Buy would get you done and listening in no time. Note that there is a volume level (1 through 5) through the Aux screen on the BMW Professional radio display, this is above and beyond controlling the volume through your phone/iPod, as well as the volume of the radio.

I'd agree with ///M1. You can prolly get aftermarket to solve this.

IF you car is not built yet I would HIGHLY recommend you to check the 6FL option for the USB connection under the arm rest. IF you car is already built... BMW does offer a USB retrofit kit:

(it is the second one down)

It's already built and I'm picking up tomorrow. It was specced for a buyer whose financing fell through. Thanks for the retrofit info.

Looks like this may be possible on any E82. I'll have to look into this.
