Sunday's drive in the Cyprus countryside
I know the car's very dirty.... but it's kind of a lost struggle with all the bugs it picks up after even a quick B road blast... The actual run is in video 4 and the return run in video 5. Unfortunately the battery died halfway through recording video 5! I was even faster during that part! Oh and the camera loses focus at a couple of points and also moves about as i'm tearing down the road, it wasn't mounted securely enough but i fixed it after a while. :P Anyway hope you enjoy.

Is his car faster? It looks like he is driving away! Is his car stock?

Driving in Cyprus ( I assume you are referring to Greece) seems to be fun and adventurous - similar to the Carribean Islands. My wife's family was from Cyprus and we are planning a vacation trip there next year. Any advise on renting or not renting a car to drive around the island would be appreciated. cool videos, I watched most of the first one. I hope you made sure there would be no cars coming in the opposite direction!

Dude the actual run is video 5 and 6! If you watch only watch at least make it one of those! The corners that i stray in the opposite lane are the ones that i could clearly see the end on them. I generally try not to get carried away... |

Ahhh... spirited driving for sure. It's great to go 15 minutes without seeing an on-coming car! But... don't you ever listen to music?

ur videos make me miss the days i was based out in west texas near no-man's hill country, and would go on short cruises out on the country roads that are just as windy and twisty as those you've posted. the biggest bonus of being out in no-man's land was the lack of traffic
i am so going to miss my rpi's! |

Nothing like a good run to clear your head and the RPIs make downshifting and heel-toeing so satisfying.

You are more than welcome to join some time! There are some great runs nearer to Nicosia, towards Troodos that we could go to!

Might not be for a couple of more weekends though, next weekend i've promised my girl that we'll spend it together. Perhaps the Sunday after that, 9 October? Maybe i'll sort out a couple of more cars to join if you're OK with it.

That is correct. We drive on the left like in the UK. In fact my car is a UK model that I imported myself.
It's a big shame that we drive on the wrong side of the road because that greatly limits the markets that we can import used cars from...
