Just a piece of friendly advice on pricing... and I'm not trying to be a douchebag here. This is just me, a seller, trying to help out a fellow seller.
Your Craigslist ad cites the KBB retail value being over $36k. You're not a retailer though. This is a private party sale, and the KBB private party is between $33.6 and $31.9, depending on whether you want to classify your car as being in "excellent" or "good" condition. The 1er I'm currently selling has a similar set of options - premium, M sport, leather, bluetooth, iPod, xenons, etc. I currently have it priced $1,000 below the KBB "good" value, and I can tell you, my car is in excellent condition. If you were to price your 135 similarly, you would be looking at $30,900. This is just the way the market is right now. Nobody wants to pay even the KBB private party value. I know others who have sold their 1ers for $1k-$2k less than KBB private party. Just sayin... You don't have to listen to me, but I speak from experience. |

yeah I always start high as everyone Wants to talk you down, I ended up trading it in for $30k and picked up a 2011 at invoice, so worked out. Which was like me selling for $32k since tax credit.
Def 135i spoiled me, no turbo lag and lux features. But I need a 4 door all year / weather car. Thanks! Eventually will be back when 08+ M3's drop.....

Hi, I'm new to this forum as I'm still shopping around for my 1er. I'm in Seattle but saw a autotrader listing for a space gray/terracotta 135 at Camp BMW in Spokane - hope you don't mind me asking - it wouldn't happen to be where you sold it to would it? It sounds like the perfect color combo for me!

I went to a new STi Sedan, more practical NW car and needed room. I do miss the Big Lowend TQ the N54 engine had for sure and gas mpg.. Feel free to msg or email any car questions! MarkRacerX@yahoo.com Not sure what all on Autotrader, but here is dealer link: http://www.campbmw.com/VehicleDetail...-WA/1294661583 Great Car! Mark
