Numbers for HPDE

Anybody have any recommendations of where to go for these?

Edit: I should have been a lot more specific. I am looking for something with a little more visual appeal than the blue painter's tape numbers I have used in the past. I am also wondering what the general consensus is: are magnetic or static cling better? The track I go to has speeds up to 140 mph. I don't want these suckers coming off! Also I can't put them inside on the windows. They'll need to go on the doors, rear bumper, and hood.

Thanks!

What kind you want? Most people make ghetto numbers with blue painters tape. You can also buy stuff like this:

http://www.soloperformance.com/Solot...er_p_1389.html

I print two number 8s from this pdf file and tape them inside my rear windows.

Thanks! Sorry, I should have been a heck of a lot more specific. Please take a look at my Edit on the original post.

The SoloPerformance website says their Reusable Vinyl Lettering/Numbering is better for high speed events. Looks like that's what I'll go with. Any other vendors out there people have worked with?

Many HPDEs provide your numbers. All of the ones I have attended do.. and I've attended many.

Wow... they must be more generous up in New England! I'm not sure how much events cost up there, but maybe that's one reason PCA only charges about $200 for their events.

The two regions I attend do as well, but 1.) you pay per number and 2.) they sometimes run out of frequently used numbers.

A sign shop local to you can probably cook something up for you too.

I'd go with static cling. I got mine from http://www.izoomgraphics.com/.

+1 on izoomgraphics. Picked up numbers for me and a co-worker's car.

I got my autocross numbers at "Fast Signs". If you go with magnets (reusable), I recommend larger rectangular (or oval-shaped) magnets with the numbers printed on them (like mine). Magnets cut to the shape of numbers tend to fall off.

As others have said, most groups I run with for HPDE's provide numbers. Some of the PCA groups don't (FSR, RTR, etc.).
