Cocomats "installed" (w/pics)

I wanted something a little different so instead of getting the ///M Floormats I ordered a set of Black with Orange Dot Cocomats from http://www.cocomats.com/ I just got them on Monday... what do you think?
(Apologies for the crappy phone pics)

Why on earth would you do that?!? Have you been following styling tips from our friend in Singapore?

Lol, yeah, the Lambo door kit is already on order

It's more... "subtle" in person. I wanted to bring the orange accents lower and have seen the cocomats on a number of MINIs. They're tough as hell and (IMO) look pretty good too

Edit: Forgot to add that the color matches much better than it appears in the pics too.

Reminds me of the beaded seat cushion they have in the Taiwan taxi cabs.

It looks as if someone has split a load of orange sweets on your floor

Well each to their own but it's not for me

Hehe. In all seriousness, if you like them, then that's all that matters!

They do look to be good quality

No worries dude, I'm not gonna get my feelings hurt over some floormats (although the Singapore comment came close, lol )

They seem to be really well made and from what I've read and heard from MINI owners, they work well year round. The amount of orange they bring to the floor is a bit more than I wanted but I couldn't really find anything else that had more than simple orange stitching

I dunno - it's kinda fun. Besides, it's something you can easily undo if you get bored of them.

And for those of you who think BMW would never offer such a thing, take a look at the BMW accessories catalog in Japan for some pretty off-the-wall floor mats:

I like them!
They bring a fun factor to the car.
And guess what, if/when you want to change mats, it will be relatively cheap to buy M mats. (about $150).

I think the mats look good. I am not thrilled with my BMW mats and am thinking of this brand when I decide to replace. Do you like the feel and quality?

You might want to think about some pedal covers. Your dead pedal looks great but it and the nice mats make the other pedals look very plain. I put in the $50 set discussed in the technical section and I think the look great. BMW also offers aluminum and stainless ones.

No, especially for a BSM, unless it's a common thingy in Germany.

Gutsy, well done sir. I totally subscribe to repeating the trimming colors in the lower part of the interior.

Most seem to struggle with just the "cocos" part of this post. Personally I'm more concerned about the dotted nature of the mats as it seems out of harmony with the rest of the interior: More pics pls? If you say the pictures do not do the color match justice, can please post images that do.

On a different note: Assuming this is your car, congratulations on a very effective 'crying to high heaven' about the the military allocations. You managed to stir enough to get your car before the average person in the civilian waiting lines:
