Yes. Did it on my 1M. Works 100%. Fast and safe transaction.

Even works with the Snap in Media Adaptor so I can stream videos/movies from my iPhone to the navi screen while driving.

What's the price difference with the hardware module vs. this DVD/CD install approach? Is there any solution that's has more/less feature or do they both enable the exact functions? Thanks for the post!

It worked with my US delivered 1M.

I guess you can re-use the CD if the dealer overwrites during software updates?

You can also have someone "code" the car to be able play the dvd while in motion.
