Yet another new M3 driver...SS/BK car arrived.

2011 BMW M3 arrived Friday. Interior is black with aluminium trim.

M-DCT
DDC
Premium 2 (ext. leather)
220M wheels
Convenience
Premium Sound
a few other odds/ends

I like the tech features and options over my C63. It also feels lighter and handles a little better. It doesn't have the cool C63 exhaust note but I like the way it sounds.

After driving this thing around for a couple of days I am so glad I got it. It's just incredibly fun to drive.

Two reasons. I don't care for the competition wheels. Also, my driveway is pretty steep and I was already nervous about the standard M3. My car clears thank god but it is close.

Congrats! I always think that stock m3 is standing way too high and you are thinking in opposite way. My driveway is really steep too but nothing happens at all after dropping it

Shifting at 5K rpms sucks. Can't wait to give the engine hell.

The first 1200 miles were torture, but it makes you appreciate the car even more once it's broken in. Good luck with it!

It's going to be nice leaving the dealer after that 1200 mile service.

Just got the 1200 mile service done. HOLY HELL it is fun to take this car to 8300 rpms. DAMN!

I am liking this engine more than the 6.2 liter V8 in my C63. Didn't think I would like it this much.
