Ha - not so sure if it's the software...it could be that the car is just more than some folks can handle. Many reviews of the car warn that if you're not careful, the car will go beyond the limits of many drivers. But that's the beauty, in a way: teetering on the brink of chaos.

I wonder how the attrition rate on these cars stacks up against other brands and models.
I guess only time will tell. From my perspective, a high attrition rate and a notorious reputation only make the car more desirable since it means the person that can drive it effectively is clearly not a poseur. I ran the German link through Google Translate: Menzingen in a 25 year old car driver is on the test drive went off the road and an accident. He escaped with a fright. His 21-year-old passenger was injured slightly. The accident happened on Saturday morning, shortly after 9 clock, on a test drive. According to law enforcement authorities Zuger the man was traveling on the main road in the direction of Finstersee Menzingen. Because of the wet road, he lost control of his car and went off the road. The vehicle fell down a slope and stopped after about 75 meters. In the accident, the 21-year-old passenger injured slightly. The 25-year-old escaped with a fright. A farmer buried his car with his tractor. The damage to the three month old vehicle is likely to amount to more than 25,000 francs. |

How do you loose control of a car on a straight road! The driver must have dropped a wheel off the pavement and then jerked the car - causing a spin. Single car accidents! lol Quote:

I've seen the same thing happen with sport bikes. When young fellas (not all) get into liter bikes, thinking they have enough experience to handle these rocket ships. Sadly, they wind up dead or badly injured trying to prove something..
