Log-in-Log-out Munich Airport contact?

Hey everyone,
This Friday will be two weeks since I dropped my ED M3 at the Munich location (log-in-log-out) and I was wondering if any of you that did the same got any tracking info at some point?

When I dropped off my car they gave me the receipt with the car info and miles but nothing about ship name, etc. they said to wait on an email over the next week or so. I dropped it off Friday and drove it to the parking lot where they told me they were expecting a truck to take it to Bremerhaven that following day (Saturday) So I hope it got on a ship by now :|

In any case, have any of you contacted log-in-log-out and if so do you have the contact info? I asked my CA and he said that the cars pretty much fall off the grid for a few weeks after dropping them off

Hey virjose,

This is the contact info I had from ED...They did reply when I emailed them regarding approx port delivery. I believe you will need to provide them with your Vin# for tracking purposes. Hope this helps!

Look on the receipt they gave you and find it who is the responsible party (for me it was BLG Logistics). I went to their website and filled out this questionaire:

http://www.blg.de/en/blg-logistics/s...ntaktformular/

I received an email from them telling me which ship it was on within a few days. Since you are in San Diego, you will probably be on one of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen ships...in which case, you can also go to to this site and enter your VIN# in the Cargo ID box:

https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage

Finally once, you have determined your ship name, go to this site and track your ship via ship name:

http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/

The waiting sucks......even when the car is in port, it took about 10 days to clear customs, etc...

Thanks for the info! I contacted log-in and they sent back info. Apparently my car will be in the Don Juan expected to leave port on Aug. 3rd (next Wednesday). I am glad I have tracking info but it is kind of disappointing given that I dropped off the car on July 15th and was told it would be at Bremerhaven by Monday 17th; it will take over two weeks for it to even get on a ship

Luck of the draw my friend....luck of the draw.

It appears that the ships sail every 2-3 weeks for the west coast and if you just miss one of the ships then you are stuck waiting. I thought I was lucky in that mine shipped almost immediately after dropping her off but then it was stuck in customs

My advice...try to not check on it every day....it will drive you crazy. Just say 8 weeks and call it good

Hey guys, I'm planning my ED trip as well.

My flight from Munich leaves at 9:50PM, how far is this from the airport/terminal itself? I know that they open at 8:30AM. If I get there right at 8:30AM, should I have a problem getting to the airport and checking in? I figured I could check-in at the terminal first at about 7:30 and then just take it to the drop-off point and hope that I'll make it back to the terminal in time.

Should I just leave it at the hotel and then take a taxi to the airport in the morning?

Thanks!

Garage List
You can walk from log-in-out to the terminal. It's part of the airport complex.

Really? Is it a long walk?

I figure if I have to drop the car off at 8:30am and it takes 30 minutes to do it, I'm not sure if I can get back to gate at 9:20am.

Thanks!

Not a long walk at all. Be sure to stop in the Audi showroom nearby. They had some cars in the showroom that had not been released in the States at the time.
