E93 M3 Retractable Hardtop Problem

Anyone have this problem?: opening the top this morning with the remote and it stopped appx half-way. After that, red LED flashes (next to the main up/down button) and it won't open or close. It is now sitting in my garage waiting for a solution... I will call the deal in the morning, but thought I'd also check in with the board.

thx in advance...

I have had an issue were sometimes one of the 2 front pins that go into the window frame stick. It happened twice when I was opening with the remote. I gave the roof a tug were the pin was sticking to pop it loose, but it would not continue opening using the remote. I had to get in the car and start the engine so I could press the button inside to continue opening the roof. I also have an 08 is the up/down button the same in the 11 as the 08.

I've had that issue because I had left my owners manual in the corner of the trunk where it has the no luggage sign is... Luckily I was at BMw when I did it... The service manager brought out a key and put it in the door and it but the top back up so I could remove the manual...

Any little thing on the "no parcel" shelf will do this. Open the trunk and check thoroughly.
