Hey Jerez Owners....

Tell me it isn't as tough to keep clean and swirl-marks off of as say Jet Black...I'm about to pull the trigger on Jerez E92 and I swore years ago, I'd never own a black car again

Not as bad as Jet Black. Still have to be very careful, but my Jet car was on another level of pain

It's fairly straight forward on a black car, if you don't want to see swirls...don't look for them.

It's definitely better than Jet Black. But like any black car, it is going to be tough to keep it swirl free. Just be careful to wash it properly and you'll be fine. I've been handwashing my Jerez using the two bucket method and have very few swirl marks.

It's a phenomenal color and worth the extra $ and or effort to maintain a good finish. Had a 2008 JB e90 M3 and loved the color.

Not sure how much difference between Jerez black and my Jet black but mine is a BITCH. Very hard to keep clean for more than 45 minutes and impossible to keep it swirl free.

For Dark Color Cars in general is a pain to keep the swirls off. A must have for Jet Black, and I suspect for Jerez Black also is a foam gun. That way you get the soap on the car which will lift the dirt off a bit and minimize the swirls. Then use two buckets, high quality microfiber towels and invest in a porter cable. Also, recommend Swirl and Haze remover (for when it gets too bad) just remember to apply wax once you polish it off.

I haven't had a black car in 15 yrs (do now) and I remember why I stayed away for a while (although deep blue was just as bad). Take care in prep and choose the right products and you will be ok. I suspect you will still get them and need to work to keep them off, but it is a nice color and like they say nothing looks as sweet when clean (although it usually only is for about 10 minutes)

Two buckets and two grout sponges. One sponge for the hood and anything above the waist.

It only looks more blue when you have more sun. She will change back on the fall.

And don't let the dealership run her through the auto-scratcher.
