San Diego Drives?

I just picked up my Euro Delivery M3 Vert and I am heading down to San Diego this weekend from LA. Any suggestions for great drives in the San Diego/ La Jolla area where I can start using my M mode and push the car a little?

Thanks.

Check out Route 67 starting out in Santee, it's just inland of San Diego. Further inland you go on that road, the better it gets.

Heading down on Sunday. I am not in the Valley, I am on the Westside, well south of the 10; I do not see why heading south on the 405 will be a problem.

Thanks for the suggestion; I believe this is the road that goes to Julian(?) A friend mentioned that Julian is a cool drive (he used to ride his motorcycles there) and a cool little town.

Hey Fish:

It's not exactly on the way, but my favorite local drive is California 76 east, up the front side of Palomar mountain, then down the back side toward Julian and back up again. If my Le Mans Blue 'vert wasn't still bobbing across the North Atlantic heading for re-delivery in early August, I'd be tempted to run it with you.
