Current order wait time?

Hey guys, I may be placing an order tomorrow on a new e92 M3. How long should expect to wait at his point? I've heard estimates as low as 3 weeks and some as high as 14 weeks. Just trying to get a good idea of what I'm in for.

Yeah, from what I understand there will be no major changes. Plus I'm getting a great deal on the '11.

East or West coast?

It was 7 weeks for me and my production started right after
my order, so don't think it can get any quicker for the West coast...
Maybe it can be done in 6 weeks if you don't wait for the ship at all,
and you start the production a day after your order...

I'm on the East coast. One thing I'm kind of worried about is the plant shutdown in August and whether that will effect my order at all.

I'm up to 11 weeks right now on LI. Car's been sitting at the VPC since last Thursday for some reason, don't know what the hold up is but hoping it hasn't been damaged

Wow, sorry to hear that. But that is exactly what I'm worried about happening with me.

The dealership didn't have an allocation so that set me back a month before it began production, then it sat for 3 weeks at port in Germany before getting on a boat. I just called the dealer today to find out why it's been at the VPC for a week now, turns out one of the wheels was damaged during shipping and they're waiting for a replacement They said it should be ready for pick up early next week.

Mine was ordered June 30th and got my production number right away, but I am still waiting for an assigned production week.
