Deal or No Deal - preowned M3
I know there are other threads addressing this:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...=366319&page=1 But it seems to be all over the place. My summary of it is that for a 2008 M3 coupe with all options and avg miles (10k/year) the price is about $40-45K and for the same 2009 car its around $45-50K. I found these two Ms so wondering if they are good deals. If not, at what price then? 2008 M3 - White/extended Beige - CPO - 32K miles - DCT with all options - asking $47K and trying to get them to $45Kish 2009 M3 - Blue/Silver - no CPO - 23K miles - DCT with all options - asking $54K and trying to get them down to $50Kish So Deal or No Deal to quote Mr. Mandell? Thanks in advance, Dave |

Hard choice.
I think for you it should come down to the following: - which color you like better? - you like having an extended warranty? (ie CPO) You can always get the 09 CPO'ed later on if you purchase that one (I would prefer a warranty on the car btw) Also the iDrive is updated in the 09 compared to the 08, but at the end of the day that shouldn't be a that big of a driver. Miles aren't that huge difference either, both have low mileage for their age. So pick the better color car and go with that.

The 08 at $45k is a good deal, and the 09 at $50k is a good deal. anything higher for the two I wouldnt buy.
I am looking at an IDENTICAL 09 (silver/silver DCT Fully loaded with 22k miles) for $50.5k. I am still trying to work on the price so it may come down to under $50k. It all depends n how much you're willing to spend also. Either way good luck! |

I won't really be driving the car alot so to me its no big deal, I usually drive my cars only around 6k a year, if that. I ride my bike most of the time so over time I guess it'll even out
