Should I get COBB or PROCEDE for my 2011 135i?

Car is on lease too! if that matters. I have AFE intake, muffler delete, and that's it except super sport springs and Vorshlag plates.
Race tires are only 225's so I could probably cook them ! 8^)
I already decided against JB so I don;t want to discuss that.
thanks for advice.

Cobb is a flash tune and is not available for N55 powerplants (your car) and will not be available for a long while. Outside of 1 or 2 bench tunes, where you will need to send your ECU in, there is only JB and Procede available for the time being.

depends on your ultimate goals...my opinion is that if you're going to get pretty aggressive with the tune then Procede...it has meth integration etc. and is dynamic in that it'll adjust to be more aggressive if conditions permit (higher octane, etc.)

Cobb if you want good power and easy install/uninstall

I know mine is an N54 but you can read up about all the tunes out there and what they are good for:

i thought N55 COBB was coming soon. I like the idea of easy in/easy out. I'll be watching for used Procede vdeals. Do you think BOV is essential with increased power?

I haven't seen where cobb has said when to look for an N55 AP, I'm thinking early next year maybe. I could be wrong, but I thought the N55 DV was internal and there is no upgrade available yet. But I may be way off on both of those points...

+ 1 JB and Procede are both piggybacks so I would like to know why. I see the benefit of going Cobb though as it's much easier

i just get impression that PROCEDE has less issues than JB. I am not qualified to say and have no experience with any of them.

Your options are the $379 JB N55 Stage1 or $945 for the PROcede. The JB N55 Stage2 upgrade kit is coming out in a month or two for around $100 and adds tons of features and fluff to an already solid tune.

In other words... you don't really know why, but just 'think' it does?

correct.
that is why i did not want to get into it because i (as I said) am not qualified to make any comments of that nature. I don't want to slam something based on hearsay. I just want to be safe with my LEASED car.
thanks for all of the input. I can see that this is going to take more research and I still will be weighing the testamony of other posters. 8^) That's all we have to go by is our joint experiences.
BTW: I wish that I could have discovered the "french horn" affect of my muffler delete, BEFORE I bought a used one and installed it! I had to buy a steel tube and have it cut and welded into the pipes to get rid of the most annoying sound. I ended up paying more than if I bought a new one. Hopefully I will not get frakked on the tune.
peace

Cobb for the n55 is still far from being work'd on.

i would put back your stock exhaust - if
you go with a tune. if you want to change up
the oem exhaust you can weld different tips on.
Reason why, is to maximize your performance.
the muff delete doesn't benefit our N55s.
also with the tune, your n55 will sound different - more
aggressive.

and have you thought about a DP -
the procede and a DP is such a great combo.

Procede is a solid choice.
There's a good number of members on here
with the N55/procede that chime in frequently.
Shiv's been here with a full tune for the N55
from the beginning.
The updates get better and better.

I daily drive with the tune and
haven't had issues just great performance.
it's solid.
just make sure your DME is updated.

good luck with the mod'n.

Quite the opposite actually. But if you want to pay twice as much and deal with Shiv, by all means...
