Cobb AP Data logs - need some help reviewing
I posted on e90 post as well - hoping someone can help me read these logs and determine if i am ok running standard 91 map vs. ACN 91 map.
-in So. California -stage 1 91 v202 (standard 91 map, non ACN). -6 gallons 100 octane from Unocal 76. -8 gallons 91 octane. Thanks |

How could we tell if you're OK running a 91 map if you filled up half a tank of 100 octane? You'd be fine running the 93+ octane maps with the fuel in your car...
My main question is...what the hell is going on with your throttle position %? Why are you full throttle / off throttle / full throttle / off throttle like 4 times in the middle of a gear? Is your traction control on and making things all wacky?

That's TPS actual, not accelerator pedal position. The ECU is doing that because his boost is spiking.
iainthim, you need to post your exact car (year, model, trans) and any mods you have. It would also be nice to know what gears those are. I assume 2nd, a shift, then 3rd? It seems your boost is reacting too violently once WGDC goes over about 45%. It eventually steadies out on the second half. Maybe an issue with one of the air lines, or you have mods that the Cobb tune isn't designed to or can't handle. Fueling looks ok. |

Car is a 2010 135, manual. Only mod is Maddad street series exhaust. Yes, traction control was on and light was flickering the whole time through 2nd gear. The pull was 2nd gear from about 2000 RPM thru top of 3rd gear. I've since learned to turn off traction control and do a 3rd gear pull from 2000 - 6000 RPM. I'll try that next and repost. Thanks for the help.

Well, I'm still curious as to what is going on between 2700 and 4200 RPM with your throttle position, but your timing, boost, afr, etc all look fine. There's no way you're getting wheelspin at 3k rpm in 3rd with only 12-13 PSI, and your traction control is off anyway, so what's with the wacky throttle position graph? After 4200 RPM it's smooth sailing...

I dont have a clue. I emailed the data logs to Cobb as well - i'll report back once they respond. Although they asked for Dynamic Advance Multiplier(DAM), Knock Correction and Knock Learn as well. Those are not options in the data log list so we'll see.
Thanks again for looking at the logs. |

You logs look good and close to what i see except the TPS actual looks very strange...
My AP has 5 times as many logging points as the release version and I haven't even seen the Dynamic Advance Multiplier(DAM), Knock Correction and Knock Learn I wonder if those are even part of our ecu There are going to be some real technical threads going once ATR comes out...

I sent the logs to Cobb as well - they responded this morning. said the car looks great and making more power (safely) than normal which is probably attributed to the race gas. No other details and no mention of the wacky TPS log.
