2011 N55 OCC installed

Completed the install of 42nd Draft Design OCC.
All parts came from 42nd Draft Designs except the PCV tubes, they are BMW
original parts.
I have only 518 miles on the car, so I hope this helps keep the intake track and valves some what clean!
Some more info is in my album.

Everything except the mounting bracket you can purchase.
I will get the list of parts and vendors along with the template
I made for the bracket, posted later today.
It is about a two hour job, maybe less if it wasn't 101 degrees in my garage!

1ea 42-CCA-120 Quick Drain Fitting

2ea 11-12-7-584-128 Vent Hose
Real OEM reference: Item #23
http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...53&hg=11&fg=15

Mounting bracket can be what ever works best for you.
I used the two open holes in the front fender trim out as seen in the
pictures. Bracket made fro .050 aluminum (2024 T3)

As far as the OCC there are many to choose from. The hose routing can work for most applications, so that opens the choice for the OCC.

The last thing I did was to trim the Ignition Coil Cover to clear the hoses. Really trimmed to much, so I have a new cover coming.
Gotta keep it looking good!

How is the flow on this OCC? I've yet to find a OCC that flows well enough to warrant installing. I had a BSH catch can for a thousand miles or so, but now I'm back to using the FMIC as my catch can... lol.

Thanks for the parts list and info!!! This is awesome. I feel like it should be in the DIY section.

The can has a drain port on the lower end. 42 sells a nice brass drain valve.

I usé a universal OCC, and just use what was already on the car, turns out that there's o sensor there, the cable it's just conectes to nothing, so I cut where the cable sits and turn backwards so the hose can run free.
