Themis Leader

I have an e92 on board. The ship left Germany on 06/11/11. Anyone else on board?

Im thinking I might be on this boat as well. I originaly thought I was going to be on the ASIAN KING, but my car was at the port early enough to catch this one. Looks like the arrival to PH is July 6th.
I'm all for earlier delivery :-)

Here is the tracking site for the ship. However since its somewhere in the middle of the atlantic there is no current update. (Says out of range)
I think once it gets closer to Panama we should see updates again.

Cheers!

I believe that my 328iT is on board Themis Leader also. Watching it slowly move across the Atlantic.

I've been checking the schedule for Port Hueneme here: http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...l_schedule.pdf and it still says that it's scheduled for July 6th. There are chances that they haven't updated it yet, but do you think Themis Leader might get here sooner? I'm realistically expecting my car to be delivered around July 10th in the bay area, is that a reasonable expectation?

Its about a 9 day trip from Panama to Oxnard.
So the 6th is probably right.
Remember, the cars usually spend about a week at VPC, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more.
I'm in the Bay Area too (Stevens Creek BMW delivery)
I'm expecting to get mine the week of the 18th. Sure earlier would be great, I'm just trying to be realistic.

Does our ship stop in San Diego or long beach before port Hueneme? San Diego marine info says it's arriving on the 8th and if that's before Hueneme them we have a couple more days to wait. Other sources say it arrives the 7th and not 6th.
Anybody know?

It does direct to PH 1st. At least thats what the ships destination states.
http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...l_schedule.pdf

The ships AIS says the ETA is the 7th, maybe they are just being conservative?

Looks like our boat will be docking this afternoon!
My CA said that priority-1 cars have only been spending about 1 day at the VDC. So he said I am looking good for this weekend delivery.
Cheers everyone!

What models fall under priority-1 cars? Thanks for keeping us posted.

Priority 1 is "Customer Sold"
So if you have ordered a car, you are most likley a Pri-1.
Other cars are dealer stock, or someone who backed out of an order.
Everyone should call the 800 number tomorrow to make sure your car is "At VDC"

it looks like it just anchored in the last hour. My Panamera is onboard that i did euro delivery on. I wonder if it is a "priority 1" car that will be processed first.

Sorry, but euro delivery cars take longer. Since you have already taken delivery, there are extra customs inspections that could add a week or more to the expected delivery time. They want to make sure you didn't stuff the quarter panel full of something you picked up in Amsterdam...

Yeah, ED returns are "General Transport" almost last on the list. Plus Porsches go to a different processing center, which I dont know much about.
