909 Area-E92 Rear Seat Closeout Group Project Interest?
Hey guys!
I was finally able to get the blasted rear seats out. Thanks again to everyone who helped me out with that. I ended up getting a huge sheet of cardboard, and I cut it up into slightly larger than needed sizes that I was planning to trim down and make into a rear seat closeout. If we count one out for the template, and then one out for me and my friend James, I still have 3 or 4 big sheets of cardboard for the rear seat closeout project. I was planning on getting the dimensions down and making the closeouts either next weekend or next next weekend, and I figured, since I had the rear seats out now and plenty of cardboard, I was wondering who else wanted to maybe tackle this together, so a few of us who are interested can make these as a group. I don't think a group is necessary to make it, but it could be fun in its own way, and more heads are better than one. Here's a link to rldzhao's project thread. Me and James are aiming to do pretty much the same thing. I'll be getting some CF-look fabric for the front of my plate, since it'll match my CF-leather trim inside better, and use fabric for the trunk-side back end. However, you guys are free to get creative and use whatever you want to make your plate. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=462001 I'm located in Rowland Heights, CA, so if anyone wants to join in and help make a template using my car (since the seats are out already), and then wants to make the closeout itself together, just let me know and maybe we can set a date up so a few of us can knock this out. |

Might be hard to make a meet out of this with most of us running around with exacto-knives, tape measures, and cardboard. I do have a grill though so anyone who wants to bring food is welcome to throw it on there and let it cook.
