Dude now that is a stupid statement.. and maybe worse then the other guy saying he didn't understand a word the OP typed. What does Canadian have to do with it?
In Canada "English" is the primary language.. he obviously is of another ethnicity that lives in Canada since we here have the most multicultural population in the world. Americans. OP use your key to open the door and go from there.. could be a battery problem but I think the 2011's do not have the key hole in the trunk like the 08's do. |

Yeah but nothing to do with being Canadian or from Canada.. and I don't even know what a 136 is either.. I was once thought to live in an igaloo.. heck I don't even know how to spell that....

I thought the whole purpose of a forum like this was to have a pool of like-minded people that we can draw on for assistance in times of need. Not somewhere to get our spelling checked. I know that if I went out to my baby and found her to be dead, using the correct spelling and grammar would not be the first thing on my mind. JM2C... - Harlequin |

But there is something to be said for taking the time to make yourself understood. It's a courtesy to the reader, which is especially important if you're asking for help. I have no problem with people for whom English is a foreign language - I'll cut them all the slack in the world. But people who are simply too lazy to use periods to divide sentences, or who write in all caps, or who just don't bother to proof their posting at all - well, they deserve what they get. Don't ask for assistance, and then make it tough for the reader to understand what you're asking.

Eveybody calm down.
You say the electronics are not working? Hopefully you haven't covered up your door lock. If you haven't, then open the door with your manual key - open the hood and remove your JB3. Then call the dealer, they will have the car towed to the shop - and do what it takes under warranty. |

Respectfully to all my fellow 1Addicts on the thread - There's some scary reading here.
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/searc...rchid=17136485 - Posts by OP across a few days. As I read the story - How do I install this ? Where do I install this ? How do I make it do things it doesn't do ? And now, sadly, my car is broken. I post since I have had a flatish battery - after my 1 was sitting for around 2 weeks with only light driving for 2 weeks prior, but question if the OP's car could suffer from a completely drained battery especially if he was using it just last week. A low battery with the clock at 00:00 I could understand. Wouldn't a good first step to be to slap a voltmeter across the battery ? Then charge it if if it needs it, else remove all mods, call dealer and cross fingers.

First of all... +1 to Harlqeuin's comment. You don't seem to have been around for long.. but the amount of dick-itude on this forum has increased exponentially since I've been here.. and I haven't even been here as long as some. Canada has two "official" national languages. English, and French. I'm sorry if some of you guys think that everyone should have to speak English flawlessly. He came to this forum for car information, not for grammar lessons. Now, I doubt he'll really be coming back. Sure he had a few typographical errors in his writing, but he's worried about his freakin' car. Would you guys be so meticulous with your grammar if you were genuinely scared something was very wrong with your car? My first language was Romanian, and I don't have perfect English either. Who's the first to make fun of me? C'mon guys, it's almost a third world country. Such an easy target. Any internet tough-guys?
Also, BigMerk, it's your battery. It's dead. This problem doesn't have anything to do directly with your tune or your downpipes, but if you unplugged the battery during the installation there's a chance it might not have been correctly hooked up again. Or the alternator could be going. Or the battery could be dead. I'd remove the tune and take it to the dealership, or just go to a local mechanic to get the battery checked out first and look for simple stuff like that, because the local mechanic can't void your warranty
