BMW Peformance exhaust gets LOUNDER after clutch work????
Hi,
I installed the Perf. Exhaust on 2/2011 in the dealer for my 2011 135. But yesterday I take my car to service because of the knocking sound when clutch is released problem. They changed input cylinder, and some other parts. But it didn't fix the problem... So they order the Clutch Master cylinder and do it next week. and the SA ask me to take the car back. I am waiting outside and I can hear the exhaust from my car from distance... (never that lound before) and when I drove the car, and the car in idle, the noise from engine is a lot lounder. and when I drove the car to work, usually the deepest sound from the exhaust is around 2000-2500rpm, but this time is a lot lounder and my cabin is vibrating... I am trying to figure out what cause my car drive so different? the parts they changed so far are : #35311161719 Bracket, Com 1 #35301164381 Bracket, Com 0 #35311165566 Compression #21526773670 Input cylind 0 Can someone help me?

Is it because they didn't tie up under the car??

weird, have you checked for any damage to the exhaust? maybe it got hit on the underside and put a hole and thats what you are hearing
|

problem solved... it was the clamp that hold the exhaust got loose...

but another problem raised... I got a nail on the front tire....
thank god it's a NON-run flat which cost me $150 a new one...

I think they did something under the car and forgot to tighten it back on.
and they gave me this excuse... "well... we put on the exhaust since Feb 2011 and maybe the torque or something making to get loose..."
