Did it ever cross your mind to check the BMS site?

actually I can access my ecu box in less than 5 mins

The connections to the 2012 might be off for yours. I have a 2012 and I had to send it back to terry for some modifications. If the connectors don't fit, don't try to make it fit. Ask terry about it.

I had my friend time my JB4 install from the time the hood is closed and everything is intact...10 minutes 45 seconds

That includes putting everything BACK together too, not just starting the car. You can get to the ECU box in less than 5 minutes if you have a drill with hex attachment and some skill

I would put it in the ecu box to avoid the extreme heat, shifting/banging around in the engine bay and of course moisture and rain water.

Spend the extra 5 minutes to avoid problems later on.
