Is that CAD or USD? Most I've seen for low mileage Z4MC is around $40k (USD).

Here's a list of all US spec cars on Autotrader with under 15k miles for reference.

It's a local Canadian car, it would cost well over 40k to import one from the states (similar mileage and condition) considering we have to pay gst and duty. US cars are also worth less here in Canada, so any money you do save will be lost when reselling.

Anyways great car for anyone in Alberta.

I think it's priced right for the Canadian market given that it's an '08 and only 15K kms. Last year, I met one of the members here who imported an '07 with 20+K kms and it cost him $43k all in.

What's the sales tax for used cars in Alberta? We have to pay 13% in Ontario.

Wow 13%, ouch! In Alberta we pay 5% gst, when importing a car not manufactured in north america we pay an extra 6.2% duty.

But the Z4M is made in North America.

No duty paid on mine when I imported it.

well, considering it's a rare car.... I know a guy that bought second hand and that car was in shit condition... leaks and rattles... half the price... I personally would pay a few thousand higher just to get a like new condition.

You pay alot more fixing the car if the previous owner tracked it like helll and maybe hit it a few times

I sold mine last yr with CPO extended warranty for $36K cad, with 20,000 km on it. ( I asked $39900 )

Mine was 06 (late 06, Sept)

So, $45K asking is not totally out of lunch, compare to US, Car in Canada is always 10-20% more.

I actually decided to keep my 996 (.2) I agree the M coupe is actually slighly more fun to drive, and more unique. (you like it or not, lots of people still think it is ugly) White the 996 is everywhere, but the 3.6 version is quite nice, and it is a 911, everyone loves it.

I do miss my M Coupe, for someone wants a TRUE BMW, that is the car. (or the upcoming 1M)
