I personally much prefer for this type of track testing.
It shows the general idea of car's balance.
I could see that zr-1 and f430 drivers stayed out during the first two laps purposely for the safety reason.(give the first group a room to battle) These drivers were top rated japanese racers and they could drive much more aggressive if needed.
Either way this bestmotoring video was very entertaining.
Thank you for posting the video.

Happy motoring!

GT2RS in the right hands, say DJ, would have slaughtered the field, going sideways.

That driver, for lack of a better term, needs to attend a DE school, to learn how to F'ng shift properly. I'm surprised the transmission did not give out.
I bet if the race lasted 5 laps or maybe 10 it would have been game over for the LFA and the GT-R because their brakes would have died on them.
Talk about a staged event.

The guy in the ZR-1 sounded scared every time he talked.

That is why the fast cars have the electronics dealing with that pesky shifting chores

The GTR yes but not the LFA which is a pretty serious piece of machinery.

Because the ZR-1 is unstable as f*ck, I don't blame him, I would be too.

You know he's the two-time Le Mans champion from Team Audi right? Seiji Ara. Pro drivers mis-shift in intense battles, that's completely normal. That's why you don't see manual transmissions in F1. Let's face it, human makes mistakes, that's why we invented machines

+1 .. all of these guys are actually pro-level in their own respective racing classes. Tsuchiya - the drift king, drove a GTR..Ironic?

Best Motoring tends to be bias, but regardless it's always entertaining.

I think Audi needs to reconsider its drivers lineup. Everybody misshifts, but that many times in 3 laps give me a break.
He wasn't even pushing it, this race was completely staged.

This is what happens when races are Not staged.
With a GT2 not RS vs GTR.

95% of best motoring's races are staged unfortunately. GT2RS should have eaten the competition, and the LFA driver was horrible--the ferrari just took a back seat.

Nice video to watch. Impressed by all cars in their own stretches of the track. Each one offers something different.

Did the guy in the GTR actually realize that you were recording this encounter" and using it on the internet to brag about the GT2 superiority? The GT2 guy left tons on the table and I beleive I would have more corner speed in my 6000 lb F150 than he was displaying on this recorded video. Was the GTR on cooldown laps or was he bored by the GT2's obvious lack of track pace and was cooling his car down to exit the track?"

It really does help if the other guy realizes that a race is happening

We don't race.

Not bragging just dispelling false claims made about the GTR.
If the track was open nothing would have been left on the table. As I'm sure you are aware there are specific and designated passing zones at DE events.

GTR was running flat out the GT2 is that Superior.

4000 lbs 480 hp vs 3150 lbs 530 hp, what does your common sense tell you??
