Hi there, I had asked Cobb about 3 months ago why their 535 map only produced a bump of 19% in HP, whereas the 335 map for the same engine produced 30%, which is a huge difference. The difference in torque is somewhat big too.

I was told by Rob it wasn't the difference b/w the cars' parts (like exhaust) and this was the reason:

We simply released conservative dyno maps for the 535i given we didn't want to give the typical power range.

We will be re-dynoing the 535i once it's mechanically sound and/or looking for another 535i to re-create our dyno graph off of.

Cheers,
Rob
I haven't yet seen an update from them on their dyno, and see that the official numbers are still the lower ones.

Any chance you can speak with them and give us an update? Hopefully we can get similar numbers posted soon, as it seems odd there'd be such a big difference on the same engine with different cars.

Great to hear, thanks!

It would be awesome to get this sorted out, since as you've probably heard, Evolve just came out with their handheld flasher, and they're saying that their tune produces the same power on the 535 as on the 335 (though a dyno hasn't been done on a 535).
